The quick take

A phone-first choice with two ways to connect

Consider the MagFlow when magnetic attachment would make daily phone top-ups easier and you also want a USB-C lead ready to use. Check the exact phone and case before expecting the highest wireless rate. The price is easier to justify when both connection styles solve a real inconvenience; a laptop-focused setup calls for a different power bank.

Reasons to consider it. Things to check.

What stands out

  • Magnetic wireless charging and an attached USB-C cable offer different ways to top up a phone.
  • An additional USB-C socket lets you use a suitable cable of your own.
  • The display helps you see when it is time to recharge the bank.

Limitations

  • The highest wireless rate depends on the receiving phone and charging setup.
  • Its weight adds to the phone when attached; check the combined size and case fit.
  • Multiple-device use shares power; individual maxima are not simultaneous guarantees.

Buy for the phone you carry

The MagFlow makes the most sense when your phone is the device that runs low away from an outlet. Think about a day of navigation, messages and tickets, with an opportunity to recharge the bank in the evening. Decide where both devices will sit while charging: in your hand, on a train table or in a bag compartment.

That routine gives magnetic charging a practical purpose. It can make short top-ups less awkward when you do not want a cable between the phone and a separate battery. If a wire already fits your routine, however, compare the price with a straightforward wired bank before paying for features you might rarely use.

Check the wireless match before paying for 25W

The important specification is the power your exact phone can receive. UGREEN lists Qi2.2 wireless modes up to 25W, but magnetic attachment does not establish that a phone supports the highest mode. Check the phone maker's charging documentation, the required software and the case you intend to keep using.

A case that fits your phone can still change the physical charging setup. Before ordering, consider the position of the camera bump, the space on the back and whether the case is designed for the relevant magnetic charging system. Buy from a seller whose return terms give you room to resolve that fit question.

If your phone cannot use the higher wireless rate, the bank may still be useful. The purchase then rests on convenience and the wired options, rather than an assumed speed upgrade. An existing magnetic bank that already covers your day deserves the same comparison.

Keep the cable option in the decision

This PB773 includes an attached USB-C cable and a separate USB-C socket. Either wired route is rated for up to 30W when used alone. That offers a different way to connect when holding a phone and attached bank together is inconvenient, or when a small accessory needs a cable.

An attached lead is particularly useful if forgetting a cable is the problem you are trying to fix. Consider its reach before treating it as a replacement for every cable in your bag. The separate socket also leaves a place for an appropriate cable of your own; check the receiving device and cable requirements together.

UGREEN advertises three-device use. This does not mean each connection retains its individual maximum. Plan around the devices you actually need to charge at once, and check the exact power-allocation diagram if a particular wired rate matters. The three headline outputs should not be added together as an available power budget.

Account for the weight on the phone

UGREEN specifies 254g and a body measuring 110.8 by 70 by 21mm. Consider that extra weight as part of the phone-and-bank combination, rather than judging the battery in isolation. Someone using navigation one-handed may prefer a different arrangement from someone leaving the phone on a table.

TechRadar's MagFlow review favors the flexibility of the integrated cable and additional socket, while flagging warmth and price as tradeoffs. Those observations support checking whether the features fit your use; they do not establish the temperature or charging time of your own phone.

Match the wall charger to the bank

The bank's documented recharge ceiling is 30W. An adapter with a larger headline rating cannot make it accept unlimited input. Check the appropriate USB-C Power Delivery output, and remember that a wall charger may share power when other devices are connected.

Our 65W versus 100W charger guide helps separate a device's requirement from the adapter's total rating. A larger charger can make sense because it also serves a laptop, even when this bank needs less. Think about the whole evening charging routine rather than buying a separate high-output adapter solely for the MagFlow.

Decide between a phone bank and a laptop bank

The Anker 25K 165W addresses a different purchase: carrying more energy and a higher wired output budget for compatible laptop use. Compare it if the laptop is what needs attention away from an outlet. Do not choose between the two on capacity alone; decide which device needs backup first.

For phone-focused use, shortlist the MagFlow if you will use magnetic attachment and also value a cable being ready. Keep the simpler option if wireless charging adds little to your day. The power bank buying guide covers the capacity, connection and travel checks to make before choosing. When checking the Amazon listing, match PB773 and the selected color, rather than another MagFlow capacity or version.

Who this is for

A phone-focused commuter who wants magnetic charging for short top-ups, values having a USB-C cable attached and can confirm compatibility with the phone and case.

Consider something else if…

A wire already covers your routine at a lower total cost, minimal attached weight is essential, or the main job is supplying a laptop away from an outlet.
